Wednesday's Edgar Allan Poe Double Feature! The Masque of the Red Death and Annabel Lee

It's Wednesday.  And if you tuned in last week, you know that Wednesday's are special episodes of the show.

Welcome...to The Phantom Frequency.

Tonight is our weekly Edgar Allan Poe Double Feature.  Two shows featuring The Master of the Macabre, himself.  The first, a short story; the second, a poem.

This week's Poe double feature is a pair that focuses mainly on the fear and confusion of death.  In the story, a group lock themselves away to prevent the inevitability of it; but unfortunately for them, a dark guest visits to prove that no one can escape it.  The poem is a somber look at one's questioning and misunderstanding of death.  Much like last week's "The Raven", the narrator obsessively ponders the "why", instead of accepting that it is simply a part of life.

The Phantom Frequency Proudly presents The Masque of the Red Death and Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe.
