Episode 4 - Pigeons From Hell by Robert E. Howard

Tonight's episode comes to us from classic, pulp author Robert E. Howard.  Though Howard is more well known for coining the Sword and Sorcery genre with the creation of Conan the Barbarian, he is not particularly well known for horror themed fiction.

Tonight's show is one of buried secrets and violent pasts, set amidst the backdrop of the Southern American pines circa 1934.  Though some of Howard's nomenclature and ideals may be dated today, his ability to create a terrifying and atmospheric depiction of the Ark-La-Texan woodlands still fascinates readers with one of his most famous and enduring horror stories.

Welcome...to The Phantom Frequency.

Slavery, murder, torture and voodoo; a bloody past haunts the dark woods where the long abandoned Blassenville manor stands.  For two young travelers, the evil and violent past of the family that once inhabited the now possibly haunted mansion may be impossible to escape...when it emerges from the darkness long after the sun goes down.
